Welcome and Expectations

Hi delegates!

Welcome to BMUN 72's Korean Imperial Court! This blog is a way for you to receive updates and information from us, the dais, and for you as delegates to talk to each other before committee starts. We hope that this blog will help you become a bit more familiar with the committee!

To begin, we will lay down some guidelines and expectations we have.

Position Papers

As stated in the topic synopsis, we acknowledge that research will likely be hard to come by, and we will grade all position papers with this in mind. Regardless, please do give your best effort! This is a perfect opportunity for you to show off your understanding of the topic to the dais by creatively applying what you learned from the topic synopsis and what external research you have done about the topic and your assigned character.

Position papers are due on February 18th to be considered for a research award and February 25th for any committee award. We understand that life gets in the way, so do not hesitate to reach out to us for an extension at koreabmun72@bmun.org (but no later than March 1st, please).

Procedure Guide

We will be adhering to traditional BMUN crisis procedure. If you have any questions about what this looks like, please feel free to email us again at koreabmun72@bmun.org.

Good luck with your research! We're so excited for BMUN 72!

Best,

Ted Kim
